Aristotle, Physics, VII.1 (Reeve translation of text α)
For those of you who have not purchased Reeve’s translation, I am including it below. The problem is that there are two different texts of Physics VII.1–3, called, by scholars, α and β. Reeve follows α in his version of VII.1, while Hardie & Gaye and Wicksteed & Cornford follow β. While the arguments are very similar, they are different enough for it to be confusing (if for no other reason than the Bekker numbers) if you do not have the text. So, you can consult this when you follow along my answers about this part. If you’ve read the other editions, that’s fine.
